What would you do if you encountered an invisible feminine Presence who told you she’d like you to write a book? Perhaps you might resist as you uncomfortably recall what happened to Joan of Arc after she announced to the world, “God spoke to me.” Or maybe you might suddenly remember all the women of the Middle Ages who possessed the requisite weirdness for being burned as witches.
Viscerally speaking, the impact of a similar dilemma hit me when I did in fact enter dialogue with a Presence who said she would like me to write about her. Now, understand that never had I entertained even the most fleeting idea of beholding an epiphany of deity, and especially not the notion of writing about it and making it public. I was used to living a quiet life, and I liked to keep it that way.
So since that gray January day when I first met the Presence, it has taken a while to write that book. Well, curiosity and conscience prevailed, and I’m happy to say the dialogue which evolved after that encounter is in printed form, titled Conversations with the Goddess: Encounter at Petra, Place of Power. In fact, an e-book form of Conversations has just been released on Amazon.com, where you can take a look at my book’s contents by clicking on the book cover image. The new e-book is also available at smashwords.com.
And remember this: if you yearn to meet up with deity, you just might be asked to do something! Just joking – a little bit.
